Get answers to common questions about Small Scar Package (Step 1 & 2).
Typical interval is 6–8 weeks to allow initial pigment settling and skin healing. The second session increases density, refines color match, and addresses any fading. Your artist will assess healing and recommend exact timing based on scar type and skin response.
Expect subtle, natural-looking concealment rather than total invisibility; pigment layers blend into surrounding skin improving tone and visual texture. Final results appear after the second session and healing. Durability varies, but many clients enjoy significantly reduced scar visibility long-term.
We custom blend pigments during the first visit and fine-tune color in session two to achieve the best match. Healing, skin undertones, and sun exposure can alter appearance slightly, but staged treatment gives superior, realistic matching compared with single-session approaches.
This package is best for small, flat, mature scars. Raised or keloid scars are higher risk and may not retain pigment well; treatment requires medical clearance and specialist assessment. Book a consultation so we can evaluate scar type and advise tailored options.
Most clients report mild pressure or scratching sensations. We apply topical anesthesia to minimize discomfort and monitor your comfort throughout. Post-treatment soreness is usually mild and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief and standard aftercare instructions.
Aftercare includes keeping the area clean and dry for 24–48 hours, avoiding direct sun, pools, and heavy sweating for one week, and applying recommended ointment. Do not pick scabs. Follow-up appointment refines pigment and confirms proper healing for optimal long-term results.
